One of the things I love most about working with my clients is their willingness to try something new on a photoshoot. My workflow on session day involves ensuring the client feels comfortable and working through well constructed poses and movement to capture beautiful images. Also, I must keep the client on track with positive energy, manage lighting, composition, environment, and ensure safety. Finally, I want my client to have a great experience or else, what's the point, right?
When is the right time to work in new ideas? How do you present a new concept when you're already managing so many other issues during a session? Is there a good time to try something new, and when do you do this? I have found three things that help me when presenting new ideas or options to my clients that have really turned into some beautiful images.
Keep pushing those comfort zones and see what develops.
